I am a software engineer developing Android apps for fun. I started my Android app development journey with simple apps utilizing Android views. Then I had quickly moved to building games in Java with LibGdx framework and making HTML+CSS+JS app for tracking lunches in my school. This included server development for scraping the list of lunches, upload of images and comments, and user accounts backed by MongoDB database. Currently majority of Android apps I make use Jetpack Compose together with Hilt for dependency injection, which I found very pleasant to work with. To this day my apps have reached a total of over 150 thousand downloads.

I am also writing a blog, which is primarily my place for looking at different hardware. I enjoy going hiking or swimming during my off-screen time.

  Because of my fascination by compilers I had chosen to study at faculty of informatics at Masaryk University. The specialization was programming languages, which is part of the theoretical informatics programme. This brought me new challenges as I had not previously experienced informatics from its theoretical view and haven't written nor read many proofs before. My master thesis focused on improving performace of a quadratic programming solver on RISC-V processors by utilizing BLAS library and RISC-V Vector instructions.

  Vysoké učení technické v Brně - FIT

  I had continued with my excitement about computer technology and went to study at BUT faculty of informatics. The faculty offered single bachelor programme, which explored informatics from very broad angle. I experienced broad range of programming languages starting from the classic low-level C to PHP and Python. Some other languages were a bit closer to the hardware like x86 (NASM) and MIPS assembler. There also was a language VHDL that becomes the actual hardware! During my studies I also managed to spend some time on electronics faculty (FEKT). For this, I was awarded electrical qualification according to 194/2022 §6. My bachelor thesis was improvement of a specific motor control algorithm for RISC-V processors by creating new instructions.

  I had always enjoyed working with computers and electronics. This is why I had chosen to study SŠIEŘ in my home city. I chose to study modern information technologies with a specialization in programming. The first programming language introduced in the school was Python, which was later also used to develop applications on Raspberry Pi. Then I had an experience with Java from development of desktop Swing and mobile Android applications and C# for Unity games. My graduation project was an Android game created with Java and LibGdx framework.

  This is where my journey begins, in the elementary school!

• November 2022 - July 2026
  This is my second internship at NXP, where I worked almost four years during college. The work had two parts, where both lasted roughly two years. First one involved work on part of MCUXpresso IDE called config tools. The job revolved around Java development using Eclipse SWT toolkit and testing by JUnit and GUI tests by using SWTBot. The second part of my job focused on RISC-V research into which I got through my bachelor thesis. The thesis focused on development of custom instructions for RISC-V processor to accelerate FOC algorithm in cooperation with Codasip. What I did not know at the time was the fact that the thesis contributes to European project ISOLDE in which NXP cooperates with Codasip. Due to this I continued in NXP on FOC (motor Field Oriented Control) and MPC (Model Predictive Control). I finished this NXP journey by writing masters thesis, which focues on optimization of QP (Quadratic Programming) solver, which is a tool used for MPC.

  July 2019 - August 2019
  This is my first real work experience. It had happened right after high school practical experience (internship), where during two weeks I got introduced to the company and got to engage with their MCUs. I used this opportunity to reach got a true month long intership during the summer, where I worked full time on assigned tasks. I worked on web app with classic HTML+JS+CSS frontend and PHP backend, where I implemented new features, integrated LDAP, and proposed security imporvements, which I then implemented. After this I had created a Java utility.
